During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 tools apps on the Android platform in Hungary exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

ESET Mobile Security Antivirus saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.2K in early May and experiencing a low of approximately $472 in late May. Weekly downloads for the app started at 467 and gradually declined to 158 by the end of June. Active users also showed a downward trend, starting at 4.3K and ending the quarter at around 3.3K.

Avast Antivirus & Security maintained relatively stable revenue, reaching a high of $975 in late March and a low of $503 by the end of June. Downloads saw a significant drop from 3K at the start of the quarter to just over 1K at the end. Active users also declined, starting at approximately 37.8K and ending at 26.4K.

AVG AntiVirus & Security experienced a steady revenue stream, peaking at around $711 in May and seeing a low of $483 by the end of June. Downloads began at 3.9K and gradually decreased to 1.4K. Active users saw a decline from 57.3K to 39.5K over the quarter.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy had a consistent revenue performance, with a high of $632 in mid-June and a low of $302 in early April. Downloads fluctuated but remained around the 300 mark, ending the quarter at 291. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 3.5K and ending at 3K.

VPN & Antivirus by Kaspersky showed moderate revenue trends, peaking at $342 in early April and dipping to $182 in early May. Downloads were low but steady, starting at 191 and ending at 109. Active users decreased slightly from 1.3K to 970 over the quarter.
